I used to have a brain that produced so many disempowering emotions, and every client I work with starts in the same place.
It’s simply what a brain on autopilot does.
Try to look at the insights below with compassion. They are simply stepping stones toward the emotional change you deserve.
What disempowering emotions am I often feeling?
Below is a ‘Feelings Wheel’, showing common disempowering emotions.
Start at 12 o’clock and slowly work your way around the wheel, asking yourself:
“Which of these emotions do I often feel?”
Remember: All of these emotions are normal and natural. None of them mean anything negative about you.
You’ve probably identified several. That’s because your brain, like everyone else’s, has a natural negative bias.
Until you learn how to intervene, these emotions will naturally appear more often.
The wonderful news is this:
You can train your brain to reduce and remove these emotions from your everyday life.
Now let’s look at a more enjoyable ‘Feelings Wheel’, one full of empowering emotions.
What empowering emotions are currently missing?
Remember: Your brain won’t naturally produce many of these emotions unless you intervene.
See this as exciting potential, not a reason for self‑criticism.
Again, start at 12 o’clock and ask:
“Which empowering emotions are missing from my everyday experience?”
It’s wonderful to know that your brain is capable of producing all of these emotions regularly, with the right skill steps.
So…What change do you want in your everyday life?
Think about the emotional insights you’ve just explored.
What change are they showing you want?
How would you like your emotional experience to transform?
What would life feel like with empowering emotions as part of your everyday?
These are powerful questions.
It’s exciting to realise that all of these empowering emotions are waiting for you…you simply need to train your brain to produce them.
